The Perfect Storm
I have not attempted to describe the Perfect Storm to you, because it is complex in nature. It usually occurs when least expected and when the least effort is put forth. We have been with friends or family when these conditions all blend perfectly together, and the beauty of the deal is that you never know when or where it is going to happen.
As you can tell from the picture, there are people that you may or may not know. You certainly don't know what happened before or after this picture, and you probably don't know what happened when this picture was taken.
That is the perfect storm. The conditions are favorable. The surroundings are ripe and perfect. The people are in the right frame of mind. Everything just falls into place. It cannot be explained. And in most cases, it cannot be recreated. You never know.
Another thing that is unusual about the perfect storm, is that you may or may not have your camera when one occurs. Most times, one doesn't -- but I usually just use the camera on my phone, and I always feel uber-ready.
Just a quick post tonight trying to stay at my quota for posting every day. We'll see how long I can keep it up. There was a bit of a perfect storm tonight, and I think I might be getting on a plane to Vegas in the morning.
Mañana!
