Music Is A Big Deal

For me, music is an integral part of my life.  And I like all kinds.  No kidding, I can listen to classical and drift off to another place, or I can turn on country and kick up my heels.  I used to think that ballads were my favorite, and they can be any genre -- but I tend to like pop hits.  I hate to admit it, but a soft spot is forming in my heart for a little bit of rap.  And right now, I am on a dance party tangent.  I have a playlist that I edit almost daily with my favorites, and there are always new ones to put on it.
Being that I have such an awesome memory, this is how I typically add to my playlists.  Snap a quick picture when a song is playing on the radio in the car (at a stop light, of course) and then I don't have to remember a thing.
It's also how I "remember" my room number in a hotel or where I parked my car in a parking garage.

Anyway, back to music, I cannot get enough of "Hits 1" on Sirius XM -- and those dang Morning Mash Up people slay me.  Note, I do not condone the lyrics of the songs that make me dance, nor do I endorse the artists, or their lifestyles and choices.  Case in point, why would Rhianna go back to old boyfriend for round two?  Nevertheless, one of her songs is on my list of today's top five.

And speaking of music, did you happen to catch the Tony Awards on Sunday?  I didn't, but I kept hearing about the phenomenal musical number with Neil Patrick Harris and Mike Tyson, therefore, I had to look it up.  Watch it here on YouTube.  Broadway entertainment at its finest!

And keep an eye on my Top 5's, as music will be a recurring theme on that page.  They actually change daily in my head, but I'll spare you to once a week or so.
