Here we go! Welcome to my blog. This is what I have in mind...
Life is about learning. My plan is to use this weblog to share things I've learned - recent things - old things - new things. But mostly, I want to interact with you so that we can educate and inform each other.
In the future, I might leave this to the professionals. My travel pro has extensive worldwide travel knowledge and experience. After a career as a flight attendant, she has lived abroad, traveled extensively, and I have yet to stump her when I am making a travel plan. She has helped my family travel and prepare to travel in a plethora of ways, so in the future, I'm not depending on "Tuesdays at 3 pm."
My interests are varied. I like most all sports; some more than others. I like to travel; I follow pop culture - music, entertainment, even the lingo; I like to read; I love studying style and make-up trends; and I love God.

Recently, I blurted out something I thought I had "learned" about air travel and the best time to buy an airline ticket. It was based on how airlines evaluate their sales and adjust their prices according to what is and isn't selling. I also did some research in consulting with a couple of travel industry professionals that I know, and they confirmed it. Yes, Tuesday at mid-afternoon is optimally the best time to buy an airline ticket, but there are a lot of variables. Wednesday is another good day to shop, but you have to know what you are looking for and be willing to dedicate some time to it. SO, I posted that one sentence, "Tuesday at 3 pm is the best time to buy an airline ticket" on my facebook status. Well, I'll be darned when two days later -- a Saturday night -- I am shopping for some international air tickets online. To my dismay, I find tickets, EXACTLY the same tickets I purchased a few days earlier, for almost 20% less. Yeah. I am awesome.
