A Need For Speed

Wow!  Am I spoiled!  Technology is awesome, but about the time you try to depend on it or really need it, .... Nada.  No upload speed, no download speed, loss of connection, lack of connection -- and practically everywhere I have been lately, complimentary wi-fi, even in the nicest of places, means something equivalent to dial up.  High speed is not even an option.  So this blogger has let you down.  I really thought I could halfway put together a blog post every other day or something, but the stars did not align.  All my travel experiences of late, make me think I need to give a shout-out to my unbelievable, and customer-service oriented internet, phone, television and cell provider, PTCI.  The bonus of doing business with them is that they are trying so hard to stay "cutting edge" and bring us the high tech things we really want.  It sounds like they are going to play with the big boys, and we can expect lots of surprises from here on out.
While I was gone, from what I can tell, I missed a lot of nasty cold weather.  I don't recall being at home and in the house for any real length of time since about Thanksgiving.  And as far as I know, the only baby in our family as of now, is that darling, baby Clare, the Australian Shepherd.  BUT, lest you forget, we are soon to welcome the precious, real-thing, baby granddaughter.  I still can hardly believe it.  Hope her parents let us keep her sometimes.  Totally kidding.  The rancher has informed me that I will probably need to stay home for more than 10 minutes to make that happen.

I am headed home.  Not quite there yet, but getting closer.  And miles to go, before I sleep.  Miles to go before I sleep.
